Stylized Cottage
This is my personal Real-time game environment Building project. It was a challenging yet highly enjoyable experience throughout the process. All shots were directly rendered and exported from Unreal Engine.
I used Houdini to block out the overall structure, allowing for precise control over the scale of the buildings, and then refined the details through modeling in Maya. For this project, I also created my first complete material set using Substance 3D Designer. For the environment, the terrain was built using World Creator, while most of the vegetation was created in SpeedTree. To emphasize a stylized look, I used hand-painted textures for the foliage materials.
I spent approximately 1–2 months working on this project during my free time.
This building in this environment is primarily based on concepts by Hyunsu Cha, with adaptations to fit the needs of this project
